I have spent a lots of time considering this new blog.  I wanted to make sure and not overwhelm the Vida Nueva web site with my ramblings and personal thoughts.  I can just see the emails now, "Chad do you really need to send all of those emails to my inbox?"  So after talking a bit to Alise, and some other friends, they encouraged me to start a blog where I could share maybe a more message focused writing. 

For many years I was leading worship at least once a week and sometimes up to 4 times a week.  On top of that I was typically speaking at least once a week, sometimes as often as 2-3 times a week.  Since moving to the mission field, I do not lead worship, and due to learning a new language, I do not have opportunities to share very often at all. 

Currently my wife Alise and I are in Seattle and in the last 7 days I am certain that I have spoken more than I have in the last 6 months combined.  Today I met with one of my mentors, Pastor Larry, and he said he would like to read articles like these.  So… even if you are the only person that ever reads this Pastor Larry, here it is.  I will be writing on here at least once a day.  In attempt to share the truths of life in Christianity that I am learning, that I think may be useful for others to hear about. 

I hope that this blog does not offend anyone, but I will seek to stay true to Gospel of Christ.  Feel free to subscribe, comment, and even argue about the things that you see here.  I will be moderating comments, but only to assure that this site is appropriate for all ages of people to read.
